Riyadh Air is Saudi Arabia's new global carrier, launched in 2023 and wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund. Based in Riyadh, it built a distinctive lavender-and-indigo brand identity well before flying — unveiling its first livery in 2023 — and began commercial operations across 2025–2026 with a Boeing 787-9 fleet.
